Andrews AFB Joint Services Open House - 2003

This year the 505 represented the 82nd Airborne Division, these troopers had just returned from Afghanistan. It was nice to see that they wore the 82nd patch on both shoulders and had the CIB on their chest. The picture is of some of the items they brought back, the red shells are from a 30mm fired from an A-10, the bayonet is Russian made, countries flag, cap and shirt taken from prisoner and black box is a wooden land mine. Also note in background is today’s gear for a jump. They had a lot of pictures of the country. If you did not make the show, again you missed history. Photo by Sec. Amos

All American Week - 2002

Once again this year,  the 82nd Airborne and Fort Bragg hosted veteran paratrooper and glidermen for a week events--both informative and fun

All American Week - 2001

 Here are some of the sights from this year's annual Fort Bragg 
event which took place May 21st through 27th.
